RentLens is a Chrome extension that analyzes rental listings using AI. We collect only what we need to run the service and never sell your data.
2. Information we collect
- Email address (account creation and passwordless login)
- Listing URLs you analyze
- Analysis results: score, verdict, component scores
- Purchase history via Stripe (we never see card numbers)
- Credits balance and usage data
3. How we use your information
- To run analyses and return results to you
- To manage your credit balance
- To send OTP verification codes (transactional only)
- We never sell your data
- We never use your data to train AI models
- We never share data with third parties beyond what is needed to operate the service
4. Third-party services
- Anthropic — AI analysis of photos and listing text
- Google Maps Platform — location and commute data
- Stripe — payment processing (PCI DSS compliant)
- Supabase — database hosting (SOC 2 compliant)
- Resend — transactional email (OTP codes only)
5. Data retention
- Analysis history kept for 12 months
- Account data retained while account is active
- To delete your account: rentlensapp@gmail.com
6. Cookies and local storage
- No tracking cookies
- No advertising pixels
- Chrome extension local storage used only for your email and credits state on your own device
7. Children's privacy
RentLens is not directed at children under 13.
8. Changes
Material changes communicated via email.
